Relaxing & Activities

Our activity organisers who manage and undertake activities for the benefit of all our residents. We always have one activity co-ordinator working at the weekends to maintain a seven-day week facility and to ensure that our residents are engaged and active.

We offer a range of activities including:
  • Visits to local shops
  • Forays to entertainment venues such as the Jazz club Uxbridge, the Winston Churchill Hall, Ruislip, the Beck Theatre Hayes and the Compass Theatre in Ickenham.
  • Outings to Kempton races
  • Excursions in our own dedicated minibus
  • Trips to local restaurants

Within Parkfield House we hold activity sessions to suit every resident’s tastes including home baking, arts and crafts, games, exercise sessions and performances by theatrical/music artists. Throughout the year we put on fêtes and garden parties for residents and their families.

Parkfield House is set in its own grounds with lawns, shrubs, flowered areas, pagodas and a decked area and in the summer we have garden tables, chairs, benches and large umbrellas for that all important shade. The gardens are accessible to all residents and with our controlled entry system it is a completely safe environment.

We also employ activity co-ordinators to provide our residents with social care within Parkfield House and out in the community at large.
